Method and assumptions

PDF documents are parsed in browser memory with pdf-lib and rendered into page thumbnails using a local pdfjs-dist Web Worker. In Visual Merge & Organizer mode, selected pages across one or more source PDFs are copied in your exact visual sequence with per-page rotation degrees applied into a clean PDF container. In Split mode, page range expressions (such as 1-3, 5) or single-page bursts copy the specified page indices into new PDF documents and package multi-file splits into a store-mode ZIP archive.

Common mistakes and edge cases

Password-encrypted PDFs must be unlocked before page manipulation. Visual thumbnail rendering caps at the first 60 pages per document to protect browser memory, while merging and range splitting work across all pages.

How to use

Drop one or more PDF files into the workspace (or click 'Load 3-page sample PDF').
In Visual Merge & Page Organizer mode, use the arrow, rotate, or delete controls on any page card and click Download Merged PDF.
Switch to Split & Extract Pages to extract a custom page range (e.g. 1-2, 3) into a new PDF or burst pages into a ZIP archive.

Example

Drop two 3-page PDF reports, rotate page 2 by 90°, delete page 5, and click Download Merged PDF to export a single 5-page document—or switch to Split & Extract Pages and enter 1-2 to save only the first two pages.
